Random Thoughts for a Fall Friday

The sun is shining beautifully this morning. The air is cool and smells of autumn are strong. It won’t be long before the cold of winter comes, but I am going to just relax and enjoy today.
I’ve been thinking about my ministry lately and the need for transparency. Bill Clem’s book, “Disciple” has challenged me in ways I have not been challenged in quite a while. Often ministry becomes a habit, an intellectual process, and the passion of rediscovering one’s real purpose fades. Through Bill’s straightforward writing I am redefining my priorities, my heart action has become an earnest desire to “image” Christ properly, with less distortion every day.
